Getting Started with ChanoX2
This guide will help you get started with ChanoX2 quickly.
First Launch
Section titled “First Launch”When you open ChanoX2 for the first time, you’ll see a Setup Wizard to help with initial configuration:
1. Choose Theme
Section titled “1. Choose Theme”Select your preferred theme:
- Dark Mode - Dark colors, ideal for night use
- Light Mode - Bright colors, ideal for daytime use
- System - Follow your operating system settings
2. Choose Language
Section titled “2. Choose Language”ChanoX2 supports multiple languages:
- 🇹🇭 Thai
- 🇺🇸 English
- 🇯🇵 Japanese
3. Set Game Folder
Section titled “3. Set Game Folder”Specify the folders where your games are stored. ChanoX2 will automatically scan for games.
Importing Games
Section titled “Importing Games”Method 1: Auto Scan
Section titled “Method 1: Auto Scan”- Go to Settings → Library
- Click Add Folder and select your games folder
- ChanoX2 will scan and add games automatically
Method 2: Add Manually
Section titled “Method 2: Add Manually”- Click the + button in the top right corner
- Select Add Game
- Choose the game executable (
.exe,.app, or binary) - Fill in game info (name, cover image)
- Click Save
Method 3: Drag & Drop
Section titled “Method 3: Drag & Drop”Drag game folders or executables directly into ChanoX2
Managing Your Library
Section titled “Managing Your Library”ChanoX2 supports multiple views:
- Grid View - Display as a grid with cover images
- List View - Display as a list
- Compact View - Condensed display
Organization
Section titled “Organization”Organize your games with:
- Tags - Add custom tags
- Categories - Categorize by genre (Action, RPG, etc.)
- Engine - Group by Game Engine (Unity, Unreal, etc.)
Search
Section titled “Search”- Use the Search Bar at the top to find games
- Press
/to open Quick Search - Filter by Tags, Engine, or Platform
Launching Games
Section titled “Launching Games”Normal Launch
Section titled “Normal Launch”- Click on the desired game
- Click Play or press
Enter
Launch Options
Section titled “Launch Options”Right-click a game for options:
- Play - Launch normally
- Play with Args - Launch with arguments
- Open Folder - Open game folder
- Properties - View and edit game info
