Getting Started with ChanoX2

This guide will help you get started with ChanoX2 quickly.

When you open ChanoX2 for the first time, you’ll see a Setup Wizard to help with initial configuration:

Select your preferred theme:

  • Dark Mode - Dark colors, ideal for night use
  • Light Mode - Bright colors, ideal for daytime use
  • System - Follow your operating system settings

ChanoX2 supports multiple languages:

  • 🇹🇭 Thai
  • 🇺🇸 English
  • 🇯🇵 Japanese

Specify the folders where your games are stored. ChanoX2 will automatically scan for games.


  1. Go to SettingsLibrary
  2. Click Add Folder and select your games folder
  3. ChanoX2 will scan and add games automatically
  1. Click the + button in the top right corner
  2. Select Add Game
  3. Choose the game executable (.exe, .app, or binary)
  4. Fill in game info (name, cover image)
  5. Click Save

Drag game folders or executables directly into ChanoX2


ChanoX2 supports multiple views:

  • Grid View - Display as a grid with cover images
  • List View - Display as a list
  • Compact View - Condensed display

Organize your games with:

  • Tags - Add custom tags
  • Categories - Categorize by genre (Action, RPG, etc.)
  • Engine - Group by Game Engine (Unity, Unreal, etc.)
  • Use the Search Bar at the top to find games
  • Press / to open Quick Search
  • Filter by Tags, Engine, or Platform

  1. Click on the desired game
  2. Click Play or press Enter

Right-click a game for options:

  • Play - Launch normally
  • Play with Args - Launch with arguments
  • Open Folder - Open game folder
  • Properties - View and edit game info

ChanoX2 automatically detects Game Engines:

  • Unity
  • Unreal Engine
  • Godot
  • Ren’Py
  • RPG Maker
  • And more

Sync your library data across devices

View your gaming stats:

  • Total playtime
  • Most played games
  • Recent activity
